NO STATE LICENSE REQUIRED! We have 2 fishing badges that allow our guests to fish at no additional charge St. Marys Glacier condo rental - The Lake by the Condo .

Our property owners association has not one but 2 private stocked lakes to keep even the best fisherman busy!

Only 30 miles from Denver!

Silver Lake is perfect for anglers of all ages! From kids to adults, the fishing is great and you can keep up to 4 fish per day per person. Silver Lake is just out the back door to the condo so is perfect for the family. Put them on the grill in our private picnic area and you have a lasting family memory!

The second lake, Lake Quivera , is more for the high-end angler! It's a catch-and-release, artificial lures and fly only. There are some smart, BIG fish in there and seasoned anglers will love the challenge!

And if that's not enough, there is St. Mary's Lake up above the condo. This lake is public and in the national forest. It;s just a 1/2 mile hike up to the most beautiful lake you've ever seen!

ICE Fishing: Our condo is a perfect place to go ice fishing! The fish are aggressive and the warm condo with it's fireplace and big screen, LCD HD SATELITE TV (for watching Bill Dance Outdoors!) is just a few steps away!

The road to the condo is plowed all winter long but at 10,400 feet you will still want chains or 4WD. Really a very relaxing place to getaway!

The lakes are stocked multiple times a year with browns, and I saw some 18+ inch rainbows swimming buy after a stocking last year!

GENERAL RULES FOR SILVER LAKE AND LAKE QUIVERA:

Individual badges must be displayed in a conspicuous place on the outer clothing
of each person.
One pole per person. NO exceptions.
Two (2) hooks per line maximum. NO exceptions.
The Special Badge must be worn for Belly Boat/Canoe use.
Be respectful to others and their property!
Belly boats and Canoes are the only floatation devices allowed on the lakes.
No motorized vehicles on lakes at any time! (Winter or Summer)

SILVER LAKE RULES :

Four fish maximum per day per badge holder.
Dry flies, lures, worms, power bait, fish eggs are to be used ONLY. No live minnows
or fish are to be used as bait.
Cleaning fish and dumping is not permitted at the lakes.
The Special Badge must be worn for Belly Boat/Canoe use.
Releasing fish that you have had on a stringer or cooler is not permitted.
Once the fish is on a stringer or in a cooler it is yours.

LAKE QUIVERA:

Artificial fly and lure ONLY at Lake Quivera.
Catch and release ONLY at Lake Quivera.
